During 4 months of 2018, Ukraine reduced gas transit volumes by 9.2% (by 2,825 million CBM), if compared to the same period of the last year – up to 27,704 million CBM.
It is worth noting that the average daily transit rate in April decreased by 2.4% (by 6.2 million CBM) up to 253.7 million CBM compared to March 2018. At the same time, the total transit volume for April was 7,611.3 million CBM, which is 5.9% less than in the previous month.
Volume of gas imports to Ukraine in January-April of this year decreased by 53% (by 2,536 million CBM) compared to the same period of 2017 and was 2,226 million CBM.
On average, Ukraine imported 13.5 million CBM per day, which is 60% less than in the previous month. A total of 407.8 million CBM of gas were imported in April, of which 48% (195.6 million CBM) was supplied by Slovakia, 39% (166.7 million CBM) by Hungary and 13% (45.5 million CBM) by Poland.
